Two members of Austin Peay’s football team received Ohio Valley Conference weekly honors today. For the third straight week. Governors quarterback Draylen Eliis was named OVC Newcomer of the Week. Ellis accounted for 253 yards of offense and three TDs in Sunday’s 34-31 win over Murray State. He passed for 227 yards and twoscores and ran for 26 yards including an 11-yard TD.
Governors kicker Grant Paulette was named Specialist of the Week after kicking the game winning field goal from 33 yards with two seconds left in the win over Murray State. It was one of two field goals Paulette kicked in the game.
