Reds whip Cardinals Sunday, host Pirates tonight

The Cincinnati Reds won their second game in a row in a 12-1 blowout victory over the St. Louis Cardinals Sunday at Great American Ball Park. The Reds scored in bunches to back up starter Jeff Hoffman who gave up three-hits and one run over five innings while striking out six. Cincinnati’s offense was led by Tyler Naquin, who hit his first homer in a Reds uniform, and Nick Castellanos who went deep for the second straight game. The Reds will host the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight with pregame at 5:10 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
