An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of a Hopkinsville man early Saturday morning on College Street.
As previously reported, Hopkinsville police responded to 1504 College a few minutes before 1 a.m. and found 33-year old Anthony Johnson of Waddell Circle with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead by Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel.
An arrest citation for 25-year old Kachelle Isbell of Hopkinsville says she was at the scene with a .38 caliber pistol when police arrived and she allegedly admitted to shooting Johnson, who was her ex-boyfirend.
She was arrested and charged with murder.
