Hopkinsville played a pair of games Saturday defeating Franklin Simpson 3-1. Jacob Dilday and two relievers combined to hold the Wildcats to three hits. The Tigers also won over Muhlenberg County 6-0 behind a no hitter from Preston Chaudoin. Hopkinsville retuns to action against Russell on the road Wednesday.
Christian County was blanked and no hit at Lyon County 15-0. Travis Yancey fired the four inning no hitter for the Lyons. Christian County fell to 0-3 and host Henderson County Tuesday night.
University Heights fell at Murray 9-1. The Blazers were held to four hits and committed five errors. UHA is now 2-3 and plays at Owensboro Catholic Monday.
