For the first time in school history, Fort Thomas Highlands won the KHSAA Sweet 16 Saturday night, downing Elizabethtown 79-60. The Bluebirds finish the season 28-4.
Earlier in the day in the semifinals, Highlands downed Ashland Blazer 66-50 and E’ town defeated Ballard 69-53.
