Grant Paulette booted a 33-yard field goal with two seconds remaining giving Austin Peay a 34-31 win against 13th-ranked Murray State at Fortera Stadium Saturday. The Governors improved to 4-5 overall and 4-2 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Murray State is now 5-1 on the season and the 13th ranked Racers lost for the fourth straight time to the Governors. Both teams conclude the spring season next Sunday with Austin Peay meeting Eastern Illinois and Murray State goes against Jacksonville State for the OVC Championship.
