WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt is Saturday morning

The weather should be sunny and a little chilly for the return of the WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt Saturday morning at Tie Breaker Park.

Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says there are some changes to prevent spread of the coronavirus, but it will be mostly the same egg hunt you’ve come to love over the years.

Registration begins at 9:30 and the egg hunt begins promptly at 11 and Rudd says there will be age-appropriate prizes spread out amongst the 20,000 eggs.

The grand prize will be $98.70, with the winner’s name to be drawn among the egg hunting licenses that are submitted at entry.

An egg-hunting license can be picked up in advance at Midwest America Federal Credit Union, Magnolia Boutique, Sassystuff, the Christian County Chamber of Commerce, Pound Chiropractic and Statons Art and Framing.
