Grace and Mercy had a successful fundraising campaign this year, exceeding the goal they set to help benefit the women who rely on the security and safety offered by the program.
According to a news release, they exceeded their goal of $150,000 thanks to the generosity of community supporters and national donors. The money will be used for daily operations serving women coming from jail and homelessness, and working to overcome those circumstances.
It will also help renovate the facility being converted into four transitional apartments for women with negative histories unable to find rental apartments when leaving Grace and Mercy. Grace and Mercy accepts donations at all times even when not campaigning, which can be made on the agency’s website.
