UHA falls to Bowling Green at Boys Sweet 16

University Heights saw its season end in the Boys Sweet 16 yesterday falling to Bowling Green 85- 57 at Lexington’s Rupp Arena. KJ Crump had 20 points to lead the Blazers with Will Bryan adding 16. Coach Grant Shouse commented on the loss:

Bowling Green was led by Tanner Buttry with 20 points, Isaiah Mason added 16 with Jacobi Huddleston adding 14 points and 10 rebounds. Coach DG Sherrill commented on the win:

The Blazers conclude the season 15-10 while Bowling Green improves to 24-2 and will meet Ballard who downed Madison Central 70-61 in quarterfinal action Friday at 1 pm.

In other first round action, Elizabethtown routed Knott County Central 89-57 and will meet George Rogers Clark, who got by Oldham County 54-47 in quarterfinal play at 10 am Friday.
