The Christian County Health Department reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, and announced new vaccine clinics happening in April.
Those 11 new cases brings the overall total up to 6,611—of that, 165 cases are considered active and 6,356 people have recovered from the virus. Christian County has had 90 COVID-19 related deaths.
The health department will be offering Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccines at four different clinics, starting on April 14 at the Christian County Senior Center at 10 a.m., then at Virginia Street Baptist that same day from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. A clinic will take place at the Boys and Girls Club on April 21 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and then the final clinic in April will be April 28 at the Salvation Army from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The vaccine clinics are free to participate in.
