Kentucky marks 11 weeks of declining COVID numbers

Kentucky has finished an eleventh consecutive week of declining new cases of COVID-19.

There were 361 new cases and eight new deaths reported Sunday by Governor Andy Beshear, who also noted a positivity rate of 2.88 percent.

Hospitalizations fell to 381, 96 Kentuckians are in the ICU and 39 are on a ventilator.

Christian County remains orange on the state incidence rate map, while Todd and Trigg are still yellow.

There are only six red counties left in Kentucky and Lyon is the only one in the Pennyrile region due to outbreaks at the prison facilities.
