Ja Morant had 11 points, seven assists and five rebounds as the Memphis Grizzlies downed Oklahoma City 116-107 on the road last night. The Grizzlies play a pair of game at Utah tomorrow and Saturday.

The Nashville Predators welcome the Detroit Red Wings to Bridgestone Arena again this evening. The Preds picked up a 2-0 win over Detroit Tuesday night. First puck drops at 7.
Meanwhile, the NHL fired referee Tim Peel on Wednesday. After calling a tripping penalty on Nashville Tuesday the Predators’ broadcast picked up sound of him saying it wasn’t much but he wanted to call a penalty on Nashville. Peel had worked since 1999 and was getting set to retire.
PGA Tour
At the WGC-Dell Match Play event Wednesday in Austin, TX, Louisville area native Justin Thomas won his match 3 and 2 over Matt Kuchar. Thomas will face Kevin Kisner in his second round match just after 10:30 this morning.
