The Christian County Health Department reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 from Tuesday to Wednesday.
According to an update, that makes the overall total since the pandemic began locally 6,503—of that, 127 cases are considered active and 6,291 people have recovered from the virus.
Christian County has had 85 COVID-19 related deaths.
Meanwhile, Trigg County had nine new cases Wednesday. They are six adults and three minors, all isolating at home, according to the Pennyrile District Health Department.
