NHL

Eeli Tolvanen had a third-period goal and doled out two assists in the Nashville Predators’ 4-3 shootout win over the Dallas Stars. Ryan Johansen and Filip Forsberg had the other Nashville goals in regulation. After an eight-game trip, the Predators return home tomorrow night to face Detroit.

NBA

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies will welcome the Boston Celtics to Fed Ex Forum tonight. The Grizz are coming off a win Saturday against the Warriors to get to 19-and-20.

NASCAR

Ryan Blaney surged ahead late to win the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It’s the first win of the season for Blaney, who was able to hold off Kyle Larson. Alex Bowman took third while Denny Hamlin was fourth. Kyle Busch rounded out the top-five.

PGA Tour

Matt Jones opened The Honda Classic with a 61 to tie a course record and finished the four-day event at 12-under to breeze to a win Sunday at Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He finished five strokes ahead of Brandon Hagy. Chase Seiffert had a closing round of 64 to finish in a five-way tie for third at six-under.
