Library to continue offering curbside service option

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library implemented some new procedures during the pandemic to keep its patrons safe and at least one of those policies will continue after the pandemic is over due to its popularity.

Executive Director DeeAnna Sova says the curbside pickup service will remain an offering of the library.

She says they’re continuing to open an hour early on Thursdays for now to allow those with a compromised immune system to meet their library needs.

Sova says the library is open 9:30 until 6 Monday through Friday and 9 until 4:30 on Saturdays, with staff taking about 30 minutes at the end of the day to sanitize and wipe down the building.
