Crofton man, two children injured in Madisonville accident

A Crofton man and two children were injured in a three-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Madisonville.

It happened just before 3 p.m. on Island Ford Road at Chelsea Drive, with Madisonville police saying 92-year old Mary Loehr of Slaughters was attempting to turn left onto Chelsea and failed to yield the right of way to a car driven by 37-year old Thomas Basham of Crofton.

Their vehicles collided and Basham’s car was pushed into a stopped automobile operated by 35-year old Jennifer Morris of Madisonville.

Loehr, Basham and Basham’s two passengers—an eight-year old boy and a six-year old girl—were all taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital for possible injuries.
