A second person has been charged in connection with the September 16, 2020 murder of Thelma “Ileen” Barnett at her home on Will Jackson Road in Trigg County.
Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant at the home of 29-year old Keisha Stewart of Cadiz Thursday. Stewart was charged with complicity to arson, complicity to abuse of a corpse, complicity to tampering with evidence and complicity to second-degree burglary.
She already has a pending felony auto theft case pending in Trigg Circuit Court.
As previously reported, 42-year old Jonathan McCoy of Gracey allegedly tied Barnett’s hands behind her back and then strangled her to death. KSP says he returned later the same night and set her home on fire with her body still inside.
