University of Kentucky football is mourning the loss of a coach from the Rich Brooks era. Steve Ortmayer, a more than 40 year coaching veteran died on Tuesday at the age of 77. Ortmayer served as assistant head coach and coached special teams and tight ends throughout the seven-season run that included four consecutive bowl appearances- winning three of those postseason games.
