COVID outbreak growing at prison in Lyon County

Trigg County reported six new coronavirus cases over the weekend, while the outbreaks at the state penitentiary and Western Kentucky Correctional Complex continue to grow.

There were 134 new cases reported Monday at the penitentiary in Lyon County and 26 more at the correctional complex, according to the Pennyrile District Health Department.

All of Trigg County’s new cases are adults isolating at home.
