Enrollment for the Virtual Learning Academy in Christian County Public Schools is now open for parents to apply for their students to participate in next school year.
According to a news release from CCPS Spokesperson John Rittenhouse, enrollment is open from now until March 26 for students in grades 4 through 12 for students wanting to attend the Virtual Learning Academy in school year 2021-2022. Any new or currently enrolled students may complete the VLA Student Application—students will be accepted based on the entry criteria outlined in the approved VLA plan available on the Christian County Public Schools website.
Some of those criteria include being on track for graduation, having no truancy, students who successfully completed all of the previous year’s course work with passing grades and more.
Certified teachers will instruct the accredited coursework through daily live instructional sessions. VLA students in grades 9-12 will have access to three career pathways as well.
Families will be notified of acceptance by April 15. For more information, or help on how to apply, contact the Virtual Learning Academy staff at 270-887-6102.
