Murray State head coach Dead Hood only had to wait two games into his tenure to find a signature win, as the Racers upset 16th-ranked Southeast Missouri, 24-21, Sunday afternoon in Cape Girardeau. With the win, the Racers are off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 1998. The Racer defense limited SEMO to 185 yards and forced three turnovers. Murray State plays at Tennessee Tech next Sunday.
