A multi-agency pursuit early Thursday morning ended with the arrest of a Hopkinsville man.
Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Adam Vanderkolk attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Tavarious Qua’Shaun Mathews on Cadiz Road for having expired tags and a news release says Mathews refused to pull over.
A pursuit ensued and Hopkinsville police assisted as they traveled through downtown Hopkinsville before spike strips were used to get the vehicle stopped at Walnut Street.
Mathews was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, improper registration plate and eight counts of disregarding a traffic control device.
