A Caldwell County man was arrested Tuesday for alleged internet sex crimes against a minor.
The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch conducted an undercover investigation after discovering that 46-year old William Guill was allegedly engaging in sexually explicit communication with a child online.
An interview was conducted at a home in Paducah and equipment used to facilitate the alleged crime was seized, according to a news release.
Guill was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail on charges of promoting a minor under the age of 16 in a sex performance, prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor and distribution of obscene matter to minors.
