Austin Peay used another outstanding defensive effort and an incredible early rushing performance by Brian Snead to fight through a first-half downpour and take down Tennessee State 27-20. Snead had three carries for 186 yards and three touchdowns early for the Governors and set an FCS record with 204 yards rushing in the 1st quarter. Austin Peay is off next Sunday.
