Jacksonville State downed Murray State 87-74 despite 22 points from Tevin Brown. The Racers tried to rally from a 13 point halftime deficit but came up short in falling to 13-11 and will face Tennessee Tech as part of a doubleheader tomorrow in Cookeville.
In the women’s game, Murray State edged Jacksonville State 78-75 behind 20 points from Katelyn Young, the current OVC Player and Freshman of the Week. The Racers are now 14-10 on the season.
