There is a major outbreak of COVID-19 at the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex in Eddyville.
The Pennyrile District Health Department noted 208 confirmed cases at the state corrections facility in Lyon County during its Friday update. They range in age from 23 to 77 and are all males.
There were six new cases in Trigg County, including a 55-year old man who is in the hospital.
Twenty-three active Trigg County cases are healing at home and one person is hospitalized.
