Jack Flaherty has been named the St. Louis Cardinals opening day starter. The right-hander is getting the start April 1st in Cincinnati. It will be his second consecutive opening day start. The 25-year-old will also be the Redbirds starting pitcher in the Grapefruit League opener on Sunday. Flaherty went 4-and-3 with a 4.91 ERA during the pandemic shortened 2020 season.
