HCC receives $3.5 million in federal COVID relief funds

Hopkinsville Community College is among numerous Kentucky colleges and universities receiving funds through a COVID-19 relief package passed in December.

HCC will receive a little over $3.5 million, according to a news release from U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, which says the money is meant to support students and campus communities during the coronavirus crisis.

Murray State University received about $10.2 million and Western Kentucky University got about $18.7 million in the package.
