A man was killed in a house fire Monday night in Madisonville.
Firefighters were called to 82 East Mclaughlin Avenue about 9 p.m. and found 67-year old John Murphy Porter unresponsive inside, according to Madisonville police.
Porter was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hopkins County coroner.
There was no word on cause of the fire.
