The wife of the Los Angeles Angels’ first baseman wrote on Instagram that 2021 would be his last season, only to amend her statement later on to say it was “based on his contract.” The 10-time All-Star will be entering his 21st Major League season and the final year of his current deal with the Angels. The three-time MVP is the active leader in hits, walks, doubles, home runs, and RBI.
