The St. Louis Cardinals full-squad reports to spring training tomorrow. Pitchers and catchers began workouts last week in Jupiter, Florida. The realigned Grapefruit League schedule will kick off on February 28th with the Cards hosting the Washington Nationals. The Redbirds will play only the Nats, Houston Astros, New York Mets and Miami Marlins in its Grapefruit League pod.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw is open to returning to the club after his contract runs out at the end of the season. Kershaw told reporters in his first media availability that he is on a “year-to-year basis” when it comes to his future. The soon to be 33-year-old finally won a World Series for Los Angeles this past season but says he feels healthy and is still enjoying the game. Kershaw turned the clock back in 2020 by finishing with a 2.16 ERA.
