Homa wins Genesis Invitational in playoff / Tiger not sure about Masters

Max Homa outlasted Tony Finau on the second playoff hole to win The Genesis Invitational in Pacific Palisades, California. Homa shot a five-under 66 on Sunday, but missed a short putt on 18 that could have won it in regulation. He and Finau entered the playoff tied at 12-under par after Finau shot a seven-under 64. Sam Burns took third at 11-under and Cameron Smith was fourth at nine-under.

Tiger Woods isn’t committing himself to playing for another green jacket just yet. Woods told CBS at the Genesis Invitational that he hasn’t practiced much since having back surgery in December, and isn’t sure if he’ll tee off at Augusta in April. The 15-time major winner says right now he is focused on progressing from the surgery. Woods won his 15th major title at The Masters in 2019.
