Fire displaced a family from their home early Saturday morning on Riverview Drive in Hopkinsville.
Firefighters were called to 718 Riverview about 2:30 a.m. and found smoke and flames coming from the attic, according to HFD Public Information Officer Payton Rogers.
Firefighters made entry and quickly contained the blaze that is believed to have begun with a short in electrical wiring.
No one was injured, but the family was at least temporarily displaced from the home.
