Kentucky used a 15-0 run in the first half to down 19th ranked Tennessee in Knoxville Saturday 70-55. The Wildcats won their third straight game, the longest win streak of the season. Isaiah Jackson had 16 points and Davion Mintz added 15 as Kentucky improved to 8-13 overall and 7-7 in the SEC. Tennessee was led in scoring by Victor Bailey Jr’s 18 points in falling to 15-6 and 8-6 in the SEC.
It was also announced Saturday Kentucky’s scheduled game with Texas A&M Wednesday night has been postponed due to Covid issues in Texas A&M’s program. A makeup date has not been determined.
