Only one county in the Pennyrile region remains red on the state COVID incidence rate map as Trigg County announced a single new case of the virus Thursday.
The 81-year old man is isolated at home, according to the Pennyrile District Health Department, which also announced the deaths of a 71-year old woman and a 72-year old man in Caldwell County and an 89-year old woman in Lyon.
Trigg, Christian and Todd counties are close from improving from orange to yellow on the state map and two Kentucky counties—Carlisle and Elliott—have made it all the way to green with a zero incidence rate.
Trigg County has reported 1,058 cases since the pandemic began.
