The Christian County Health Department will begin making COVID-19 vaccination appointments for some individuals who fall into the 1C category, beginning March 1.
The appointments will be for individuals who are 60 and older and there will be an emphasis on individuals who have underlying health conditions, according to Amanda Sweeney-Brunt.
Between now and March 1, the health department is working to get those in Phase 1B vaccinated as quickly as possible.
Phase 1B includes anyone 70 and older and they have also added occupational childcare workers to that phase.
There are openings for appointments in Phase 1B next week and they can be made here.
