A man was injured in a crash on the Pennyrile Parkway Tuesday involving two semis that was caused by icy conditions on the roadway.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a semi operated by Macedonio Gonzalez was heading south on the parkway when he lost control of the vehicle due to poor road conditions. The tractor-trailer jack knifed in the roadway. A second semi traveling the same way was unable to come a stop due to the ice, and the two collided.
Gonzalez was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of leg and back pain.
