KSP charges Green River Correctional officer with drug trafficking

Kentucky State Police have charged a corrections officer at the Green River Correctional Complex with multiple counts of drug trafficking.

According to a news release, KSP was contacted by the Kentucky Department of Corrections, who suspected correctional officer Nickolas Rogers of bringing drugs into the correctional complex.  Investigation was completed and illegal drugs were found.

Rogers has been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in synthetic drugs, trafficking in marijuana, first-degree promoting contraband, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation is ongoing.
