The Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys will clash in the Hall of Fame Game Thursday, August 5th in Canton, Ohio to kick off the NFL preseason. The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the game Monday. The two teams were to have met in the last year’s Hall of Fame Game, but it was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Authorities in Florida are investigating the death of former NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver Vincent Jackson. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says the 38-year-old was found dead in a Brandon hotel on Monday with no apparent signs of trauma. Jackson spent 12 years in the NFL playing for the Chargers and Buccaneers. He’s been out of the league since 2016.
