The Chicago Cubs are adding depth to their outfield, signing Jake Marisnick. Both sides have reportedly agreed to a one-year deal for one-million-dollars, with a four-million-dollar mutual option for 2022 and a 500-thousand-dollar buyout. Marisnick is a career .229 hitter for three teams in eight major league seasons. The 29-year-old played for the New York Mets last year, hitting .333 with two homers and five RBIs in 16 games.
