Tom Brady lived dangerously as he celebrated his seventh Super Bowl title. During Wednesday’s boat parade in Tampa, Brady was caught on video throwing the Lombardi Trophy to his long-time teammate Rob Gronkowski on another boat. Gronk made the catch, so the trophy didn’t fall into the water. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the parade on the Hillsborough River to celebrate their Super Bowl win because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kansas City Chiefs outside linebackers coach Britt Reid is no longer employed with the team. The Chiefs announced Monday that the son of head coach Andy Reid had been put on administrative leave following an investigation of a multi-car traffic accident that left a five-year-old girl with life-threatening injuries. ESPN reported last night Britt Reid was placed on leave through the duration of his contract, which has now expired.
