Ty Scroggins-who led Louisville Central to five state championships-died today at age 49 after a battle with Covid-19. Scroggins had been an assistant at DeSales High School for the last four years. Scroggins led Central to state championships in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Scroggins was 101-43 in 10 seasons as Central head coach. Scroggins also played inside linebacker for the University of Louisville from 1991-94.
