Golfweek.com reports world ranked number one Dustin Johnson has withdrawn from this week’s PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. No initial reason has been given for his absence. Johnson won the European Tour Saudi International on Sunday. There will be no player in the top 10 of the World rankings playing this week at Pebble Beach.
The Barbasol Championship-the PGA Tour event held at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville-will be hosting a junior championship event June 28-July 1st. The event will feature 120 ot the top junior male golfers in the world. The winner of the 54 hole event will earn a spot to play in the pro event July 15th-18th also at Keene Trace.
