A vehicle versus pedestrian accident Saturday night on the Bypass sent the man on foot to a Nashville hospital.
It happened a few minutes before 6 p.m., according to the collision report from Hopkinsville police, which says 32-year old Andrea Watkins of Hopkinsville was westbound near Bradshaw Road and didn’t see 33-year old Leonardo Torres of Hopkinsville crossing the highway on foot in an unlit area.
Police say Torres was also wearing dark clothing and he was struck by Watkins’ vehicle.
Air Evac flew Torres to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of serious injuries.
