Matthew NeSmith and Mark Hubbard are in the lead after the opening round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. NeSmith and Hubbard both shot eight under 63 in the opening round. Nate Lashley and Sam Burns are both tied for third at seven under 64. Louisville area native Justin Thomas is one under while Campbellsville native JB Holmes is at one over par.
