Todd County reports 25th COVID death, two new cases in Trigg

Another Todd County resident has died from COVID-19 and there were only two new cases Thursday in Trigg County.

Twenty-five Todd Countians have now died with COVID-19, according to Public Health Director Jen Harris, who did not release any other details on the latest victim.

The health department also announced three new cases—all otherwise healthy adults isolated at home with mild or moderate symptoms.

Todd County’s active case count fell by eight, with 23 patients now healing at home and eight are hospitalized. Officials say 856 of 912 total cases have recovered.

Meanwhile, the Pennyrile District Health Department says Trigg County’s two new cases Thursday were a 45-year old woman and a 19-year old male, both isolating at home.
