An investigation Wednesday by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office on Cave Street led to the arrest of a man on a burglary charge.
Deputy Andy Spann responded to a trespassing call and found 53-year old Donovan Lee Stokes of Hopkinsville allegedly hiding under a couch inside a home in the 400 block of Cave.
He refused to come out and Lt. James Dragoo and his K9 were called in to help bring him into custody.
Stokes surrendered after a brief encounter with the dog and was arrested for second-degree burglary and resisting arrest.
