Todd County is orange and not red on the state COVID incidence rate map for the first time in months and there was only one new case there Wednesday.
The otherwise healthy adult is isolated at home with mild symptoms.
Public Health Director Jen Harris says they will be calling individuals soon to make appointments for second doses of the vaccine. She says they’ve been told to expect very small amounts of first time doses each week for the next several weeks.
The Todd County Health Department plans to have drive-thru vaccination clinics for Todd County residents ages 70 and older each Wednesday at noon, with pre-registration in the old Ardco parking lot next to Dairy Queen.
Meanwhile, the Pennyrile District Health Department noted eight new cases in Trigg County—six minors and two adults—all isolating at home.
