The NFC is celebrating a virtual win in the NFL Pro Bowl this year. The NFC topped the AFC 32-12 in a virtual game pitting a few current Pro Bowl players and celebrities against one another via Madden NFL 21. Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was named the game’s MVP.
The Los Angeles Rams are in full win-now mode. They traded for Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford over the weekend, reportedly sending QB Jared Goff, two first-round draft picks, and a third-rounder to Detroit. Stafford has two years remaining on his contract and Goff has four.
Meanwhile, before landing quarterback Matthew Stafford from the Lions, the Rams had their eye on an even bigger name. The LA Times’ reports the Rams originally tried to pry Aaron Rodgers away from the Green Bay Packers, but the Packers flatly rejected the idea.
