The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library will remain closed until February 15 as several staff members have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The library closed Monday of last week due to positive tests and five staff members have tested positive since then, according to Executive Director DeeAnna Sova, who says the decision to close the library until February 15th was made to provide ample time for staff members to recover and uninfected staff members to follow all CDC quarantine guidelines.
Patrons should hold all returns until February 15 and late fees will not be assessed until then.
The Libby App and online database remain options while the library is closed.
